dogwood & the shakers

Zander Wood, the creator of Dogwood & The Shakers is from Edmonton Alberta, a prairie boy that was raised on twangy honky tonk and blues. At 20, he lost 4 fingers after being run over by a freight train.  After a year of recovery, he picked up his guitar again, donning a leather glove to cover his missing fingers, and dove into the gritty blues jams and dive bars.
